Peru is a vibrant and culturally rich country lying on the Easterly side of South America. It’s most known for the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu, which perches high in the Andes Mountains. The ruins of Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley are the focal points for many visitors and they certainly won’t disappoint!

The capital, Lima is on the west coast of the country and boasts its well preserved colonial centre, presidential palaces and collections of pre Columbian art. Parque de la Reserve showcases a daily water fountain show at dusk, and is probably one of the best water shows we’ve seen!

The North of Peru shares a section of the Amazon rain forest and is ideal for the adventurous types to explore.
